IRONWOOD HILLS AND ALTITUDE

Ironwood Hills is a sim that have some urban  spook feel, with some ghosts, abandoned buildings, rain and much more to explore.

This sim is owned by josman2088 Resident ( Cyrus Knight ) and Zeke Jestyr. This two simply created one of most perfect post apocalyptic sims on SL (in my opinion). It was made for photographers by two amazing photographers.

The sim allow rezz, run scripts, it has it own windlights, but I used my own for this pictures.

I was looking for a urban sim to take pictures of this awesome outfit made by ValentinaEvangelista Resident , owner and creator of Valentine E Couture. This amazing outfit is only one piece and will be free only for tomorrow at the opening of Altitude sim. It came in standard sizes and fitted mesh, you can't lose it.

DUSTY HEIGHTS

I was looking for a nice urban sim using the SL search and found out this nice place called Dusty Heights.

There is some cool photogenic spots like this drive in and some hangout places. It is also has some hungry zombies to kill.. so you can miss it!

OONA - ALICE PROJECT FOR HAIR FAIR 2015

As promised, lets the Hair Fair blogposts beginning!

I think there is no secret that since mesh came around I am a huge fan of Alice Project hair.

I really think Alice's hair are  my favorite on the grid by far. And this hair fair  ughh.. she  did such great hairs, but I will start with Oona, a big wavy hair, with no bangs.

Alice's hair  have low lag hud, and you can choose basic packs or infinity version, that work with different color huds, so if you want the same hair with a enormous variety of textures, this si your hair!

THE SLUMS

The Slums is one of the Depraved Nation chain of sims. The place is an urban sim, but very well made, with materials enable that reflect the street lights, just stunning.

I talked with on of the owners Kehl Razor and he said it still a work in progress, some textures might change but not its final shape.

Completely changing subjects here... since I decided to shake of the dust of this blog, I think I may do some I always like to do, promote charity events in SL and one of my favorites is just happening, Hair Fair 2015.

So be aware of a bunch of posts about hair, not places very soon.

... With the world turning circles running 'round my brain... yes this song is stuck on my mind, and the best way to get ride of it is passing it to other person, hahaha

Well, I ended doing a blog post with rain, is not easy to find a rainy sim on SL anymore, but few ones allow rezz and I have a nice rain system on inventory and this cute umbrella pose and the idea turned out as this pictures, I hope you like it.

By the way, if you know pretty sims that allow rezz , please let me know! I need it to do couple, family and group poses, and share it would be just awesome.

This is my urban sim to go when I need a nice place that allow rezz, is called Virtual Decay, I use it quite often to do pictures, but not sure if I ever blogged it before. It is not laggy as some RP sims, but I like it.

Iron Fist

Iron Fist is a biker sim... or at least used to be, they are rebuilding and it is getting an abandoned town feel... kinda dark... with some swamp things, desert roads.. but I may be wrong, since it is a work in progress... but I see some bats and pumpkins, so it might be just a preview of halloween...

Anyway, this sim allow rezz and is already looking pretty awesome!

Costume Ball at a Kittens Heaven Haunted House

Halloween is coming, and this claims for some spooky themed posts. I took this pictures at a haunted little house at Kittens Heaven where is always raining, even inside the house.

There is a really sad woman's soul in this house, she cries because she lose her loved one. The eternal rain is made of her tears.

But even in the middle of sadness we can find some beauty. Flowers grows where her tears touches the ground, so even in the autumn you will find wild and eerie flowers there... this flowers are the symbol of her eternal love, no matter were it is....

(I'm the worst story teller ever... but anyway...)

Changing the subject here, but not so much, there are many events going on sl right now, and one of them is a dark themed , but classy, Costume Ball.

Costume Ball is an event organized by The Ego Co, and it will start tomorrow, you will find some nice things for your Halloween.

Other events going one are Cinema, Zodiac and Fair.

Zodiac this month is my favorite of all, Scorpio is the subject here, the most charming, sexy and dangerous sign (and my sing obviously).

I will try to keep it up and blog more about this events.

Devious Pinup

Vintage Fair is my favorite event in SL, I spead my posts between this blog and Chic-Style Guide and Chic Management. Since Chic Style Guide will be off really soon, I will reblog my posts here, so you can check it out anytime!

I decided to make this rock and roll pin-up as  soon as I set my eyes on this amazing dress by Devious Mind.  This dress is mesh and came in standard sizes, but it is a way more curvier then most mesh clothes I see around lately.  And curves are prerogative for pin-ups!

New York City and Vintage Fair Preview

New York sim is not just an Urban place, it is a mix of residential and commercial place, that have a small sample of  the RL city with same name. It has Soho's houses, Apartments, stylish shops like on 5th avenue. They even have a website, check it out for more info about this sim lifestyle.

It is a really nice place to take shots, since it allow rezz objects and run scripts.

Choose a dark Windlights, because the local lights are really amazing.

I keep testing the Tone Mapping and SSAO tools from Niran's viewer. I used some blur and liquidify on this pictures, but I didn't edited the color filters at all.If you doubt an raw shot can be like this, check out my sl feeds, were direct pictures from sl are posted.

When you activate the tone mapping, all windlights  get messed up, so I might create an separate download for windlights with the default numbers of tone mapping, exposure and more.

I mess with them too, editing it like I would do in PS.

Now, lets talk about my favorite event in the whole SL, the Vintage Fair. The 3 sims will be open to public on august 4th. Pixel dreams and One Voice

Pixel dream is a lovely creation by the Owner of Pixel Mode. At the land point you need to choose the store or T-Town, the name of this installation at ground level.

It is a nice country farm.. .sort of.

It is pretty, well built and textured.

Im testing some features on nirans viewer, like gamma correction and tone mapping and SSAO Option, I think it turned my pics a little weird, with some blue spots, and made shadows blue... weird, but here is the result, I would love comment on this subject.

Well, there are a couple hours before one voice ends. Go there ! Hurry! And thanks a lot for all of you that supported Gala and all creators standing with then against hypocrite thief s.

Erotic and Mesh Around

Erotic sim, despite of what the name suggest, is not an adult sim, but it is a sim dedicated to live music, with amazing buildings and streets.

The beautiful urban decay of this sim makes me thing of a kind of artistic neighborhood.

Well... changing the subject here... I'm not sure if you guys are aware or not, but I started to collaborate for a Home and Garden blog called Home on the Grid. I made several posts about the Home and Garden Expo 2012, a charity event for Relay For Life, and it ends tomorrow. Take a look in this posts and hurry up to catch some goodies.

I also get accepted as blogger for The Ego Co. which is an event organizer team that has two great events just around the corner, the first will be a wide grid hunt called Mesh Around.

Mesh Around will start in the beginning of June and  will bring unisex or gift for each gender for several stores. If you never tried a mesh item it is your chance! 

The second event will be Fluid, that  is a recurring bi-weekly, themed event in Second Life directed to those of us who love poses, animations, props and furniture; creators and consumers alike. Fluid will showcase the talents of 12 (twelve) pose, animation, prop and furniture makers during the course of these two weeks. The first round starts June 15th.

Right now the Skin Addiction Group is organizing an event called Skin Show Case with several skin creators releasing brand new skins, it worth to give a look there!

Pink Flamingo and Culture Shock

Pink Flamingo is a great place to hang out with friends or that special person in your Second Life.

You can a rid horse, or fly in a balloon, or just sit down and chill in the many cozy places around this sim.

There are some awesome critters there too.  You will find donation boxes, it says the money will help to pay the tier and to buy another animals, what would be great.

I found a hidden Caver while exploring the sim, can you find it too?

The description fo the land says 

" Feel the grass tickle your legs in this retreat from your retreat. Hitch a ride on a balloon to see through the eyes of clouds drifting across the grass. Noweeta Grassland is a good place to find new friends while exploring an amazing landscape."

Changing the subject here... I updated my windlights, the new link is on the sidebar, feel free to use it and tell your friends that SL can be even prettier with new windlights, just say NO to full bright and facelights!

About my look.. I'm wearing just Culture Shock items, almost all of them are mesh.
